Rushmere Alpacas

Rushmere Alpacas is a small friendly breeder of quality alpacas based in the hamlet of Rushmere and next to the country park of the same name. It’s owned by Jo Parker and Neil McAndrew and located just north of Leighton Buzzard. It’s easy to reach from the M1 and only 5 minutes drive from Leighton Buzzard station, yet very peaceful and quiet. We know all our alpacas personally and hand feed them daily.

Apart from the alpacas, we own a cat, Tilly and a dog, a very laid back black labrador called Jensen. They are both rescue animals and follow a long line of rescue cats and dogs who have lived at Little Cuppers.

We keep a high standard of hygiene and wherever possible use naturpathic remedies to ensure a happy healthy herd. We use our knowledge gained from re-homing other animals to encourage confident animals who are happy being handled.
