Help With Funeral Costs

Updated: May 19, 2020

The Colin Wollard Foundation

Leighton Linslade Helpers was founded on 13 March 2020 by Holly Woollard in Leighton Buzzard, in response to the Covid19 Pandemic.  Holly wanted to protect her mum and dad, who she knew would both need shielding during this worrying time.  This group snowballed into the Emergency Response for the whole of our community in Leighton Linslade and across Bedfordshire. Holly and her family never knew how many people they would end up helping and continue to help today.

They are part of the large emergency response ensuring people have food, medication, emotional support, but most of all they can stay home and stay safe.

Sadly, despite taking all the precautions, Holly's family lost their Dad Colin Woollard, on 26 April 2020.  Many people up and down the country are now finding themselves in the same position as Holly's family.  They never imagined they would have to prepare to lose a loved one.  They never imagined they wouldn't have funds in place to honour and respect their loved one in their chosen burial or cremation.  This fund has been set up in Colin's name to give him the send off he deserves, and to help any other family going through the same sad circumstances.  No family should have to worry about the finances at this time.
