Today the Leighton Linslade Helpers hosted a Gypsy Women Drop In at Albion Chambers. The event was organised by Leighton Buzzard Community Policing Team and local Traveller ladies and was a huge success. Leighton Buzzard Community Policing Team has stated this on their Facebook page "Great to meet and chat with the ladies at our first Tea with the Travellers engagement. This was the first of these meetings where we are encouraging ladies and children to come and engage with police and meet other traveller ladies offering support and empowering each other."
